William Larkham Jr. grew up in Williams Harbour, a small isolated community on the South Coast of Labrador. There he started hunting, fishing and trapping at a young age and continued all his life. He spent time away to further his fishing career acquiring his Fishing master class 2 and started a YouTube channel to pass along knowledge and share his lifestyle to the rest of the world. Many know him as the Bigland Trapper as Labrador is commonly referred to as the Bigland. Recently his outdoor and survival skills were put to the test as he competed on the hit television show ALONE. Using his outdoor and indigenous knowledge, William was able to survive 84 days alone North of the Arctic circle, long enough to outlast the competition and take home the top spot. William currently lives in Happy Valley Goose Bay with his wife Jillian and their two children William and Anna along with their cats, Smokey and Swag and two dogs Honey and Sassy.
